Read F5's comments above. March 31 cutoff date for the new head design. And I'd say we've seen maybe <100 of these here. There were what maybe 20-30k hummers sold before then (including mine). Chances are small (unless it happens to you in which case they aren't).
Do I worry? Sure, I'm concerned it's gonna go, but realistically if it goes, I call hummer customer service have it towed to the closest dealer, get a rental, have it fixed, call GM get my drivetrain warranty extended to 100k, have a new head, a longer warranty, and get to beat the **** out of a rental car
for free!!
