very good points. but from what i understood of this about number 5 is that the coating is to keep the heat from going into the block instead staying in the cylinder where its needed, not that it will burn from teh walls.

just wanted to say what i thought they meant. but i agree that it most likely doesnt work, but i cant knock it till i've tried it, and im not gona try it for those reasons you said up top, so as a result i just cant knock it.

maybe it works more like a placebo for the car/truck, it thinks it can therefore it can.
