Scrover, good answer. We pack lots of food, water, (get gas just before we enter the trail and right after we finish too) I've found that my roof rack works best at keeping the trees from scratching my paint on top but I also occasionaly throw my tire up there but have found it screws up my satellite radio reception. So for now, it's just for looks until we hit some more level trails. The spare will continue to bounce around in the back and the cooler will always reside where I can reach it.
