I do not know if just a few feel this way but I do not like the look of H3, looks toyish. But mainly I have this sinking feeling like the pride in owning a Hummer name is being deluted by all these different models. I saved and saved from the time I saw my first H2 to be able to put down a large down payment. By the time I was able to get it this year it had been many years of hoping and wishing and I can't wait. I'm so proud to own it My 05 Stealth Gray Sut. Maybe it is just sour grapes but it upsets me that soon every soccer mom will have a $30,000 Hummer when most of the time H2 buyers are paying $60,000. Yet they can say i own a Hummer. I'm sure though that H1 pwners felt the same way when the H2 came out. But, I think the H1 and 1 model H2 SUT would be plenty for all to chose from. Well I guess You get the jest of it all. I will just have take and live with it but I saved for years to have down payment almost equal to soccer mom total bill to buy her H3.
Saddening, Let Me see what others are thinking maybe I'm just being a big baby but can't help I feel all the sacrafice I made to own the Elite is getting watered down. I understand it is just business to GM more market to sell to.

Based on your argument an E Class Mercedes devalues a S Class, as would any less expensive model of a major luxury car manufacturer. The H3 is going to bolster the H2 as it will be purchased by those aspiring to own an H2. In additton it may prevent a freefall of H2 resale values. as to saying "I own a HUMMER" ask any driver of a C class MB, the cheapest Lexus, BMW or Infiniti what they drive and they will most likely respond with The BRAND name not the model......
