I had the same problem with both my mirrors, they both worked well for a while but then my passenger side no longer folded in, and in about a month later my driver side was no longer folding in. I took the truck to Shaw GMC, look at it and replaced both mirrors(under warranty). Okay, I was happy, everything worked again...for a month and a half!! then they both crapped out again! Back to GM I went and this time they replased them with the new H2 mirrors, (Black housing with chrome H2 stamped on the front). Had these on now for just over 2 months and they work great. If you don't have warranty these mirrors will run you anywhere between $900.00 to $1,100.00/ea! YIKES!
