I agree.
While I get these comments, I get other glowing comments as well. Had people come out of their way to ask questions about it and compliment it. It's cool to see people looking at you like, "Damn that's awesome!". I've had some children wave and look in awe at the vehicle as well. Even had one give me the "honk the horn" sign. Of course I gave in and did it for him! 
Ouch on the Honda comment. That's even worse!
