Default Re: PISMO BEACH 06/24/06

It was great to see everyone and the night trip was pretty surrealistic. It felt just like the videos you saw of the Gulf War when they were caravanning through the dust storms. That sand was SOFT! Pismo is a nut house during the weekend. That was an insane scene that night. My wife even saw a streaker (missed the young stud didnthca Humbebe!? People were actually camped down to the surf line with water being splashed on their campers, trucks, and other gear. The creek crossing was pretty deep and at high tide, a wave came in right when we went through behind one of the H1s. I have no idea how deep it was on our H3 but it was splashing up as high as their rear bumper. I think we all disappointed the gawkers that were lined up at the creek crossing because as far as I know, no one stalled or got stuck. We had the lowest vehicle there, stock Adventure H3 and if we made it, everyone made it.

I wish we could've made it during the day but stuff happens, by the way, the pooch is fine.
