i stumbled on these rims while playing around with tirerack.com. they might look kind of neat on a blacked out h2.

No those are a different. The simulated bead lock is the same though. That bead lock comes in a few colors - chrome, blue, gold to name a few.

i like racer x's rims. what are they called? think they are weld racing dune 8s.

exactly. and FYI, they look better in person. I think all of the rings are anodized except black which are powder coated. The wording is not painted on it's etched through the powder coat and into the aluminum.

p.s. you can see more and get more info regarding size/offset etc here. I can;t remember what I paid but I think about $400 each

they have those in a tire ad in one of the truck mags i get. if i had to pick one rim for a H2, that one would be hard to pass up. by far one of my favorites.
