I purchased an SMA heavy duty brushguard some time in January. I had to send it back and get a replacement due to shipping damage. Now Iam havind a TERRIBLE time with the powdercoating getting moisture under it and causing the whole thing to bubble up. Its almost as if the metal was not cleaned or prepaired right before the powdercoating was done??? I would NOT recommend this SMA guard to anybody!

Send them back via the store you bought them from.

SMA should cover them.

If I recall correctly, SMA warranties the powdercoat for 5 years. They warranty the brushguard for the lifetime of the product.

I've seen their tire carriers literally crack at the welds before and they replace it - free. They do stand behind their product.

Go back to the store that you bought the brush guard from. They should help with the warranty of the item.

That sucks you're having problems. But it's great to know they'll stand behind the product. I hope all works out well for you.

BTW, make sure they pay any shipping and handling charges.
