Okay. Took a long trip to Hot Springs. Lights flashed on the trail at Super Lift and freaked me out. I unplugged my IPod and the flashing stopped. I think it must have something to do with the charging system that goes through the unit. I think when the iPod charges it draws too much current and causes the battery to work harder and that causes the lights to flash.

Anyone heard anything from AI yet?????

I did as AI suggested and returned my Nucleus to logjam electronics. They sent me a replacement, ver 5.03, but as I suspected, it is doing the same thing. I just emailed AI tech again to see if they have any update. At this point I'm going to return my current Nucleus to logjam and get my $ back. If they do find a fix I will probably purcahse a new one at that point. I'll keep everyone posted on what I hear from AI.

I returned my 2 units as well. No more flashing lights for approx. 2 weeks, including a road trip from Las Vegas to San Diego and back.

My XM radio display now only shows the first letter af the artists name, instead of the full artist name.

In addition, there was a blown fuse for my factory-installed rear/headrest DVD system. Works fine with new fuse.

I think an electrical "problem" is a major deal and I do not plan on re-installing an A.I. unit.

Just received a response from A.I. tech support:
"we are testing a new batch right now. I should have results hopefully by Thursday or Friday. give us a call Friday and see where we are at".

I have received my RMA # from logjam and will be returning my 2 units tomorrow. Not sure if I"m going to repurchase when the problem is fixed.
