Default Bizzar Windshield Wiper Behavior

I recently popped the fuse for my front windshield wipers. I think this could have happened when I accidently turned them on while the were still frozen to the windshield after a recent snow storm. After busting off the tabs for the fuse box cover (crap) I popped in the new fuse and back to life!

But now the things stop where ever they like (like they lost the 'home' position for off). This happens when you hit the spray and through all the various speeds.

I see there is a relay and diode in the fuse block for the wipers but to behonest I'm not sure how to test these or what exactly they do. Any ideas?

Worst comes to worst I can drop it off at the dealer but if this is something a can test or resest my self I much rather learn how to do myself.

Thanks

I had the same thing happen last winter, except i didn't have a blown fuse. The wipers stopped working for a while after they were iced at the base, then worked on & off, stopping wherever it wanted when I turned them off.

After a while, they just started working normally again. Dealer could not replicate the problem and there were no error codes in memory.

Very strange.
