What does the oil life monitor say? Was it reset when the oil was changed? Was the note for service or maintenance?

I think the OnStar email notice (which I got as well) is not referring to the oil life but to the maintenance schedule based on milage...(tire rotation maybe?)

It's in the owners manual... because the place i got my oil changed at looked in the manual and figured it out.... I think you're right on the fact that its prob referring to a tire rotation
