Default NAV System...HELP !

I have had my H3 for two years, bought it new....Love it !!

Has anyone suddenly had there NAV LCD screen just go dark ?

I went to set clock the other day, clock setting was complete and suddenly screen started to flicker...this went on for a while and then it went dark and non-responsive.

All radio functions work......But, radio is worthless without screen to see channels, NAV, Config, etc....

Sure would appreciate any thoughts.....Just seems that two years and not heavy use would have the LCD go bad this soon ...

Thanks

Sounds like a bad radio or poor connection.

you prolly held down the button that makes the screen shut off. i have a different nav but if i hold down the button next to eject for 5 seconds the screen shuts off.

If it flickered ..maybe something came lose internally....Or

You can try hitting the bottom Config button. There is a touch screen option for turning the display off as well as on in that screen view. That is assuming the screen comes on when you hit that button. I assume it's a GM NAV unit.
