Gobi literature says height is 79", but would appreciate if someone who has the Stealth rack and 33" tires could do a quick measure.

A buddy of mine just bought an H3 and he's got a hair under 79" of garage clearance, and I know literature is sometimes not precise.

Zing, since no one's helped yet here's some info that may help him decide. Our garage is 83" and the old truck had the Stealth and was a smidge under 82".

If his truck fits with over 1" of clearance with the rear bar all the way back, it will fit with the Stealth.

Sorry, I missed this thread Zing. That height is acurate.

The best thing for your buddy would be to measure in the back of fhis truck since that is the highest point. Measure from the top of the roof track to the lip of the rubber flap that is on his garage door trim. Also, I would need to know how he pulls into his garage. Does the driveway come up onto a hill and than into the garage or falt into the garage or down a hill and into the garage.

If he/ she is a member, have him PM me or get me his info and I'd be happy to talk with him/ her.

Mine with a thule rack on crossbars is about 80 inches. 79 seems a little high (for the Stealth) but very close. I bet the stealth is between 75 - 78 inches is that close enough?

Thanks guys. It's a huge garage complex with sprinkler pipes and signs and there are a few low points at 79". And you're driving on a flat surface at these points. So I'm hoping the height is actually a bit less thant 79".

He and I are neighbors and this is also my garage complex. And with my H2, which is a hair over 79", I figured out where the low points are and I drive around them. But not without some painful scrapes and severed perimeter lights during forgetful moments. My neighbor doesn't want to deal with the anxiety.

Ken, of course that's actually when each scrape and broken perimeter light happened!
