Rep. John Murtha, a key Democratic voice who favors pulling U.S. troops from Iraq, said in remarks airing on Monday that he would not join the U.S. military today.

Murtha Reuters article

Murtha is such an asshat. You think with that the 403-3 vote by the House rejecting immediate withdrawal would have shut him up. But no, he wouldn't join today even though he said he "left Washington and Jefferson College in 1952 to join the Marines out of a growing sense of obligation to his country during the Korean War" and then "volunteered for Vietnam in 1966-67." In hindsight, one would be hard pressed to argue that either of his wars were more worth fighting than the current one against terrorism.

Quote:
Murtha told ABC News' "Nightline" program that Iraq "absolutely" was a wrong war for President George W. Bush to have launched.

This from someone who voted YES on authorizing military force in Iraq in Oct. 2002.

Were Presidents Truman and Johnson "absolutely" wrong in sending Murtha off to their wars?

By having military veteran Murtha mouth the liberals' treasonous lies, they believe they are insulated from being called unpatriotic for engaging in conduct designed to aid an enemy that is trying to kill our service personnel in the field. Their ruse is obvious, unsuccessful, and Murtha is a coward because he did not refuse to be a party to such a disgusting ploy.

Makes me absolutely sick.

Sean: I said he was a Judas goat and you replied "I think he's a democrat."

I think you're being redundant [ha ha].

Thanks,
