Took my H2 to Discount Tire to install pressure sensors. All the employees were commenting about how great H2s are. Some a**hole customer chimed in that he "has no idea why someone would pay $45,000 for a Hummer" I promptly asked where can you buy an H2 for $45,000....try $50 - $60K + MSRP. He said "really, I wouldn't own a Hummer, they're all a piece a junk". I gave him a look, he then noticed an H2 (mine) sitting out front and sheepishly asked "oh, do you own one". I said "yes I do and are you a leaf licker". He got a stupid look on his face and asked "what's a leaf licker?". The guy behind the counter quickly & wisely realized this conversation was going downhill fast and distracted the guy with some unrelated questions. He drove off in some foreign 4 wheel drive POS turd box about half the size of an H2. What an idiot. First negative comment I've ever had. But give the "kids" at Discount Tire credit. After he left they all said his only problem is that he can't afford one!

Funny, I had two compliments yesterday when I went for a drive. And both even mentioned my cool license plate and used the word beautiful. BTW, both were female.

However, while in your town last summer some yahoo bartender at Statosphere overheard my buddies and I talking about HUMMERs. He chimed in how he didn't like the H2. I told him to be careful about offering unsolicited opinions to customers he doesn't know and left him one dollar for a $50 tab.

Must be a Vegas thing.

Good for you on the one dollar but no, not a Vegas thing. On the contrary. I've had countless compliments, high fives & thumbs up about the H2. This guy was just an oddity & probably from CA or OR.

What?! Our leaf lickers are all immigrants looking for free health care and medical marijuana permits, they never get a job and they never leave. Couldn't have been from Oregon.

Please stop with the P.C. terminology. You are referring to illegal aliens!

First,I don't know what P.C. is.
Second, I wasn't referring to illegal aliens from out of the country, I was referring to people that should already BE citizens of this country moving to Oregon lookinng for a free ride, because this state provides a free-ride.
And third, I'm not sure if you were kidding or not.

My apologies…. I get aggravated every time I hear illegal aliens referred to as “undocumented immigrants”.

Thanks for that!
Klaus: I apologize. I was aggravated as well. Couldn't Vegas just have called him a B.H. instead? Then he would have known what he meant!

That is so good, I am terrible at any type of confrontation. I have switched long distance service at least 3 times due to that very thing. And leaf licker...well it just slays me.

I Love The Leafer Licker quote. I had heard it on here before and use anytime somone starts a convo about most politically correct crap. I add tree huggers to that tag. Leaf licken tree huggers is the way i use it. I get some halarious laughs when people hear Me use it to someones face. They ask where did You come up with that?
I tell them from My H2 forum Buds.
Next thing I know they are using it. Maybe that is how We win just keep using the off the wall tags. It sure gets attached in the language of those who think the same and they are many.
