Reminds me of Saigon thirty years ago, or NY city a year ago. (Then again, most of the taxi drivers in NY are Indian or Pakistani.)

Worked over in Delhi for a couple weeks. We almost hit a sacred cow one time. Indian girl riding in the car started screaming because it was some holy cow. They just let them roam free. There's always people, cows, cars getting the smack down. But then again for 20 bucks a week, we had a driver, maid, and a butler.
