I know a basic wrench and socket set, hammer, pry bar, but are there any specific size wrenches or sockets or specialized tools that are needed for specific repairs? Anything out of the ordinary?
I like to be prepared, but I also don't want to be lugging around a lot of unnecessary tools.
What do you all carry?

Jack stand... I have a high-lift on top of my roof rack but lots of guys hate using one, spare tierods is a most, even a halfshaft are pretty useful, if you have beefed up tierods then the next thing to go is your halfshaft.. hubs... and down the chain, Talked to Humm'n'boating (Eric) he has a full offroad toolbox every time he wheels.
Other than that... I dunno... flashlights, mini shovel, D-rings, recovery belts, gummy bears and a gun will help too
