All:

Noticed that the new SUT had a light fixture in the rear bumper indentation.
Think we can put that in our '03/'04's??? Part #'s??? Price??? Fit??

Got these replies via e-mail:

Hello Ric . . . . .
We have received your inquiry for the below mentioned part(s) and would like to offer some assistance if possible. The item(s) that you have requested are currently not in stock.
At this time, GM has not yet supplied us with any parts catalogs for the new 2005 H2 SUT !! In fact, we just received our first SUT just a couple of days ago. Sometimes, GM has a little delay in sending catalogs to their dealers when an entirely new vehicle is released, as this appears to be the case. - I have compared the tail lights on our new SUT to the lights on other SUV's and they 'appear' to be pretty much the same size and dimension, therefore I would think that they would interchange, though I can't be sure. Unfortunately, GM engineering won't tell us that they 'positively' will work since they were not original equipment on your H2 (but I think they will fit). Since there hasn't been any catalogs released yet I can only approximate a price for you.
Your approximate price would be as follows:
LH / RH Tail lights . . . . . $175.00 ea + Sales Tax Hopefully, GM will be updating our parts catalogs in the near future and we will be able get a better idea of the parts numbers and actual prices. Please check back in a few weeks. Thanks for your inquiry - Have a nice day !!!

Another:
The cataloging is there for the SUT but the pricing structure hasn't been completed. The price sounds about right if you work off a list basis. For forum members I work off a cost basis so your price would be totally different than your average dealer. It might take another month or two for the pricing to get updated but when it does if anyone is interested please let me know and I'll get you a great price. I'll keep an eye on it. The only thing I can say that will be interesting is finding out what parts are needed to do the job. Then I can make a list, cost it out, and give you guys a price (shipped) that will include everything to do the job.Thanks. Jeremy (jfink@fredbeans.com)
