Do any of you guys do any underwater photography - and specifically does anyone have any experience with the Sea&Sea housing for the Nikon D70. I am thinking about getting one but at $2500 I want to know the buggar is worth it.

Thanks Orbital - I think I like that one better - a) its cheaper b) it is clear molded so that you can see if the O ring is seated properly.

I went with the Sony DSC-P100 and underwater housing. There are many reasons why but the primary one is that it is only a 300 dollar camera and the underwater housing is 150 bucks. The camera works great for underwater photography unless you are planning to take pics for national geographics or something. Also, you can get the stobes pretty cheap as well. I do alot of deep dives and if the seal cracks I am only out 300 instead of a larger amount. I would go this route for recreational underwater photos. Just a thought.

I couldn't find any reviews specifically for the D70, but take a look at THIS. If you don't already know, B&H is the place for anything photography related. Great prices, great service.

Good Luck.

Oh, also try www.fredmiranda.com or http://www.dpreview.com. These are great photography forums. Check out the Sports Corner at the fredmirand site. Lots of surf shooters there.
