Hummer Humming

I told them that I was hearing a humming noise that increased in pitch when accelerating. Most noticable starting at 45 mph. I told them it was only when on the gas not coasting and it sounded like it came from the rear of the vehicle. As far as how loud it is, If you listen to the stereo loud you might not hear it is the best way I can describe it. My dealer says this is the first time they had this issue.
