Help. Everytime I drve into a 20 MPH wind at over 50 MPH my front windows start whistling. The noise in torture. My dealer couldn't fix it. Hummer doesn't seem to care. I'm ready sell it as I can't mentally take the it. It is torture.
Has anybody else experienced this. I've never been off road and treat it like a baby.
HELP.

I got rid of the whistle by using black electrical tape and covering the gap between the windshield and the plastic trim from the bottom of the windshield to the top. Somewhere in there the wind was causing the whistling/vibrations. Of course, more permanent solutions could included caulking the gap.
Good luck.

1. Wear earplugs.
2. Find another dealer that will fix it.
3. Take it offroad for christ's sake. Maybe its just whining cause its sick of the mall.

Shamcruz, I have noticed that when I drive on the highway in extreme wind conditions my windshield whistles very loud. [ it has only happen twice ] Lucky for me I like hardly ever leave the city. When I bring my H3 in for service I am going to have the dealer check it out. Don't sell your H3 just yet. I feel your pain and the whistle is very loud but I am positive it is repairable.

HELP.

First, wind noise is easy to fix, if diagnosed. Did the dealer tape up the outside of the side windows and drive to see if the noise disappeared? This confirms the area of the noise.
Windows can be adjusted, seals can be replaced, so it is fixable.
I have driven mine in a lot stronger cross winds, and the only noise I have is the antenna resonance (proved with antenna removal). </div></BLOCKQUOTE>
