I have noticed a ticking sound coming from the passenger side towards the front of the truck. It seems to be speed sensitive. The faster I go the faster the "tick". It doesn't appear to be engine related because I can let off the gas and the ticks remain. Almost sounds like a rock or something lodged in the tire. I have looked at the tires but can't see anything that might be stuck in the treads. I have tried cycling the 4 wheel drive settings but no change.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance

I have the same sound but it's coming from the back of the vehicle. Dealer is looking at it on Monday.

It could be coming from the back. It is so hard to tell when driving. Seems to be getting louder these last few days. Keep me posted on what the dealer says.

Hi all,

I have the same sound, not much of a click but closer to some kind of friction, a “SHUSH” sound.
The sound can be heard from the get go, faster as I speed up, comes from the bottom of the car passenger side.

It is also speed sensitive, as I tried to rev the engine and/or idle it while in motion.

I took the car to the dealers, but no solution, never expected one actually since they are a bunch of dim wits.

I found another case on the net, they said it was from”the rear end”.

One thing is, when I speed up the sound speeds up “frequency”, up to around 100Km/h.
After 100Km/h the sound does not change much, frequency wise. Its just the same “SHUSHING” up to 150Km/h.

Sorry about the Kmh everyone, our standard.
