Am I the only one who finds the E Brake pedal awkward and crowding? I am not a big guy (height that is) and I continue to bump my leg/shin on this &^$#$!! pedal. It seems way to long and obstructs the foot space.

Any thoughts? Is there a shorter replacement pedal anyone would recommend?

I totally agree. I get my pants leg caught up on it all the time. Extremely annoying, and probably the first (and only) gripe I have about the H2 interior.

Never noticed it!?
I would've liked for it to be a softer release like the Cadillac.

Just a wish list!

I am 6'4" and I have never noticed the thing. How does it work anyway and what is it for?

Just slide your seat back farther.

It may be a "short thing." I am 5'9" and I noticed it the first time I took mine for a test drive. It is indeed an annoyance, but I will live with it.

Grendel, that could be it. I'm 5'7". I think there could be a better location for it, the brake on my Chevy never bothered me.

I have no clue what you guys are talking about.

I thought about this thread on my ride home and had to really try to get my leg to rub on the parking brake. It is nowhere near where my leg is.

This should be grouped up with the high beam indicator thread. Maybe you guys could look into buying an Enzo, I hear they form fit the interior specifically for the driver. Then all those crazy and troublesome times of catching your precious Armani pants on the pedal will cease to exist!

I'm 6' 3" and never even come anywhere close to rubbing that pedal. Maybe lay off the junk food so your cankles return to the proper size so you won't be fumbling about the cockpit?

I've heard of these kind of people.

Leftislegusepilepticus

It's quite sad. I thought I had that condition one time. But I realized that all I had to do was pack my ballsack into the other pantleg.

Thanks everyone for your feedback.

My conclusion is that it is a "height-thing".
Tall people sit further from the wheel (i.e. extended legs) as their reach is probably longer relative to their height.

Shorter people (ME 5'9") sit closer to the wheel (i.e. bent legs) as their reach is probably shorter relative to their height.

A theory only!!!

What is important here is two fold:
1. The affirmative responses have validated that I am NOT the only one with this issue.
2. All the "Big" guy have had an opportunity to goof on us/me.

Hope you all had a great time.

Please do NOT let this thread spin out of control like so many do. Where the discussion is so far afield from the topic that no-one can even remember how it got started.

It was a valid post SRFCASTR, I just had to take my opportunity to get one in.

I went out and tried moving my seat up and move around a little and I still never really bumped it or it never got in my way.

I am six foot tall and it gets in my way every once in a while. Not problematic enough to complain about it, but enough times for me to question the design for sure.
