Just wanted to tell someone that i just ordered my new Realwheels SS Over the hood Brush guard.
My wife just doesn't appreciate new toys for my toys. And unless it is a part for a 69 chev truck my son doesn't either.. In fact he was more excited that the sway bar for my 69 came then anything for the H2.

Did they give you a good price on the over the hood brush guard? Did you order it thru the maker, or did you go thru you dealership?

Guys,
I have seen the over the hood brushguard and it looks great. It is offered in the H2 Source online store, for details, click here:
http://www.h2source.com/rw305-1.htm
Be sure to click "Add to Cart" for actual pricing and to configure yours.
Regards,
Jason

a guy here in LA is making a similar guard (though not quite as sexy), my concern was that it was mounted to the hood and not the frame (more damage if hit?). The over the hood part of his attatched to the hood in place of the handles...where/how is this mounted on the top? Does it open with the hood, or open seperately like the SMA?

The Realwheels.. connects just like the factory unit..It does not attach to the top of the hood and yes opens with the hood.... I would not have ordered if it didn't.. I relly dislike taking stuff apart if I need access to it.. That is one of the reasons I have hesitated regarding their air horn set up for my personal H2.. Perhaps we can talk a customer into one and see if it is a pain to work around..
