i tell ya, i thought my M3 got looks. this new H3 of mine turns heads everywhere!!! and today, for example, i was at a store and the clerk was like "is that the new hummer?!" she then ran outside to look at it. then, another worker came out. and then a guy pulled up and got out to admire it. i've even had a UPS guy run over to me as i was backing out just to ask about my new H3.
the jury is in...
the reviewers seem to like it
the public i've encountered loves it
and more importantly, i love it!!!
just thought i'd share

I was afraid of that. I haven't bought one yet.
To be honest, I'd rather the general population leave me alone. After a decade of driving convertible Wranglers, it is nice to not be stared at.

Stared at? Why would the general population stare at something that is as common as a roach?

It's nice to hear stories of Joe and Jane Public accepting, and even liking the H3 - and not spray-painting, fire-bombing, or flipping off Hummers.
Ain't it a great-looking truck? The designers did a terrific job capturing the iconic Hummer lines in a smaller package.

Returning waves is cool, but it sometimes too much public attention is not a good thing. I agree with Wild One. It's nice to not see bad press.
Paragon, buying a truck because it turns heads was cool when I was young and single, but I am an old married fart now.
I'm going to buy one for its capabilities and its utilitarianism. Unfortunately it is a good lokking truck, so most likely, it will be back to the days of everyone wanting to drag race you at stoplights. I don't know if I am ready for the flipping off and fire-bombing, yet.

I've been pulled over by Phoenix Police on 3 different occasions. Each time they admitted that they just wanted to get a look at my H3.

We recently had an Open House at our Fire Department - I parked my red H3 out front alongside the Fire trucks. We found an old lightbar and mounted it on top, and borrowed the magnetic stickers from the Chief's rig for the doors.
The H3 drew more interest than the Fire trucks, and we got some interesting reactions from people before we told them that the Department hadn't actually bought it.
A few people commented on it being a waste of the taxpayer's money - until we told them that it was actually ten thousand less than the Chief's Expedition. The majority of people loved it though.
Now the Chief wants to replace his Expedition with a Hummer

Well at least you haven't come across the idioc tree huggers that that in their little brain think all Hummers and SUV's are evil and were making the terriorists rich by driving one.

Actually, Yes! She was married to the first officer that pulled me over. She was smokin' hot.
