Are you in a pre 2005 SUV?

Just tap into the stock light you currently have - behind the bumper should be the place to do it. I assume your taking your other light off?

Black wire to brown wire under back of truck, in a bundle on the RH side. White wire to chassis ground. If you have a question on this, take the truck to someone who is experienced in this type of stuff. Incorrect wiring mods of this type can 'let the smoke out of' the Body Control Module--it's a $500 part buried underneath the dash.

Brown wire on the trailer connector, all wires on the trailer connector are clearly marked, brown wire should be park lamps. Then just find A good ground. Left side of frame right behind bumper is A factory ground.

Easiest way remove the 4 torx screws and remove connector from bumper and then you will be able to see it to disconnect it. There is a tab to squeeze and then it just pulls out.
