Is it the Series 50 Delta Muffler?
If it is, it'll sound loud on the outside, but about the same on the inside of your vehicle.
What price are you asking?

Everyone has there favorite but, I have stainless dynatech catback header system with dual super 40 flowmaster muffler exhaust system. I had experience with flowmaster so went that way but, everyone says it sounds loud and deep while on the throttle and soon as I let off it quiets down real nice. I do not hear it on the freeway. I can cruise around with sunroof open and does not cause any problem but, when I get on it You can hear it as far as you would want. It is run down the right side where factory is and they used 3" into 40's and 2.5" out to fit both side by side over axle in stock location. Dual 3" did not look like it would fit with comfort and Exhaust Shop was little worried about releasing back pressure to much. I have found there is a difference between a muffler shop and an Performance Exhaust Shop. I go where the racers and muscle cars go. They have ussually more knowledge and in most case have tried so many things that they already have an idea of what will do what you want. Just My experience.

I am running true dual exhaust 2 mufflers and all with a cross over included. I'm runing 2- 2.5" tailpipes over axle in stock tailpipe location. 2- 3" were just a little to big for comfort. If You do not want to spend much more money I would ask for the super 40 muffler. It is deeper than the 40 series. I run a 50 on my Silverado and it is little louder than stock but not by a whole lot. If You go with super 40 it will be deeper in sound than 40 series around the same loudness but, be sure You go over axle. I tried turning the twin super 40's down in front of the axle and it had way to much reverb in the cab. You could feel Your guts vibrate and by the time I got home 20 miles i hurt inside. I turned around and went back the next morning and ran it over the axle. PERFECT
Your shop should trade out with You for no charge if they are a long time reputable shop. They can resell the 50 like new no problem. My Perf. Exhaust Shop did not even charge me for the extra labor or material for going over the axle. I have it tucked up high like factory where You can not see them. For off road I would think that may be best. I kind of wish I had come on back and put chrome tips on, which I may do yet. PM Me if You like and want to talk more. Be glad to help. I have had allot of help from Buddies here and like to repay the site if I can.
