If you are talking about the companies like DentPro, or Dent Doctor the ones that I have used are awesome! They come out to your place of work and it usually takes about 20 mins. for them the take out the average dent. I have used them numerous times and have been completely satisfied with the results....and I am really picky about how my cars look. I think that the average price that I have paid is about $75.00. Not bad considering it doesn't have to be painted!

A new car I bought came with a very small dent. Dealer said they would have it fixed by these paintless dent repairmen. After three tries, I gave up. Never helped, the dent remained.

Dent was about the size of a quarter, immediately above the driver's door handle. Maybe it was something peculiar about where the dent was or something else?

Never known anyone else who had any experiences, good or bad...

Thanks gentlemen. I had $4000 paint job done on the Jaguar sedan only weeks ago, yesterday I found a nasty shopping cart type small dent on the passenger door. I will give these guys a call.

No such problem with Hummer, the side steps everyone loves so much work wonder to prevent side dents. It is almost impossible to dent the Hummer with car doors and shopping carts, if you have the sidesteps.

For small dents and door dings,Yes is works. Remember they also must have access to the rear of the sheet metal being repared. I have watched one guy repair a real bed door ding on a honda once. It took him about an hour but I could not find where the damage was. And it was a BLACK! car ...C

I got a ding on my pass. door. Do they have to take the door pannel off to fix it? If so I will leave it since it will only make the car rattle even more. Please let me know.

1 of my friends was the GM of a Honda Dealership a while ago when the dent guys just started fixing the dings in cars. He was telling me that how they fixed them (back then) was so secret that they would set up curtains all the way around the car as to not let anyone see what they were doing to repair it. He said that they could fix most dings and you could not tell.

I did call the dent people back in June after my initial inquiry here. The guy came out the next morning to my home, did it right there in 15 minutes. I watched the whole thing, he did not mind at all. All the little dents are gone, with his touch up paint, it looks absolutely showroom perfect. Just slipped a metal rod down the window edge, no opening of door panel, few movements the dent disapeared right before my eyes. Naturally he found more tiny dents and fixed them after I agreed to the increased cost. Even a small dent on the wheel arch was gone, spots where I didn't think possible. Costed me $200+ for his 15 minutes of work, but $1000 cheaper than bodyshop.

The tool kits are available for sale online with instructional tape, but you got to know how to use the tools. This guy did each dent in less than 2 minutes, may take me 2 hours a dent, if I can fix it.

I've had these guys take out dents from a number of cars and it's amazing to watch. It is a fairly simple process, but it takes lots & lots of practice. All of the guys didn't mind spectators and actually told me exactly what was going on. They said that the only challenge sometimes is getting access to certain areas.
Great service and well worth the money.

Excellent. My sons guitar teacher jammed his Toyota truck mirror into the nice open area in the center of the door. Black mark, big dent. Dentpro, 10 minutes, some was, can't tell its there.

Magicians I say. As DRTYFN says, worth every penny.

Think they could undent my muffler too?

I also have a dent on the upper part of 2nd door driver side. Not sure how it got there, but seems easy enough to pop out.
