I emailed Sylvania about silverstars a few months ago, and their statement was they might produce silverstars for the H13 bulb by early next year. Sylvania, along with a few car manufacturers helped develop these H13 bulbs.

I'd wait for the Silverstars. We put the Sylvania H13 bulbs in that were supposed to be "super bright" or whatever, and I fail to see any difference. In fact, they look entirely identical to the Phillips bulbs that were in there. So I'd recommend avoiding them, and wait for at least some Silverstars.

I e-mailed sylvania about h-13 in silverstars and they told me they had no plans to make them because of goverment regs .and they only had them in xtravision which are 20% brighter than stock.

Different reply than what I received. Did you email their customer assistance or technical assistance? Not sure what government regs would interfere with the lighting; heck they make silverstars for almost all other sizes.
