I just picked up my H3 last night. Boulder grey, Lux/ADV, chrome mirrors, etc. Ebony interior.

What a nice car. My other is a 470RWHP C5 convertible so this is a major difference. So far I'm very happy. Now I just need to figure out where everything is. THey did install the wrong visors in the car. No lit vanity mirrors or Homelink. I have to go back to the dealer for them to change them out.

Thanks for letting me play here.

The lighted visor/homelink is an additional option, it no longer comes standard with the Lux package.

All the literature I have and was given by the dealer says the lux package comes with lighted vanity mirrors and homelink. I think I may make a case out of it if they tell me it's not included any more. I specifically asked if it had Homelink and was told yes.

Yes but it does ride well lke a car. I had three Cherokees and a coule of ToyToy Pckup way back when and they never rode like my Sunny Rides.

Welcome. Glad to see you're not discussing how you slid on ice and wrecked your new truck.

Welcome WKMCD,

I just went through the same thing with my dealer on the lighted mirrors and homelink, no joy. It's not part of the lux package anymore and according to my dealer was a factory option only, meaning they couldn't add it at the dealer even if I paid for it......

Let us know if you find otherwise.

Congrats!! Love the color.

My dealer would install the lux vanity mirrors for $420.00 installed.
They are definitely available to the dealers for installation

But was that with the homelink? I should have been clearer in my post as that's what I asked about, not the vanity mirrors.

Yes, I too have been there and done that with the lighted mirrors and homelink. I did buy mine off the lot but at the same time there were several on the lot with the mirrors and homelink. I raised a big stink over it. After several calls to GM, they explained that the option package changed and the one I purchased was simply a later model than most of the others on the lot. They sent me a coupon for another free oil change to pacify me. That was all I could get from it...that totally sucks, but as they say, "that's life," and sometimes it is a bitch! So far, that is my only negative experience with the H3.
