Default Stories to tell

First off I had a good time at the BBQ and have a few pics that don't even need chopping....I will get to those in a minute but now I must share my day at the beach. Sorry guys, couldn't get up earlier to go with the group but we went to the beach anyways stuffed the hummer full of family(6 of us) and took the ever so fun drive to the coast....get to gearhart and take the drive from there to sunset beach(on the beach)...gotta love this 80's in Portland when we left and 50's at the coast with fog that was so thick at times I could barely see the hood anyways drive about 1/4 mile down the beach and there is a guy and his kid with a crown vic stuck in the sand so I do the polite thing and ask him if he needs help since everyone was just sitting there next to their trucks and staring, anyways hooked him up and pulled him out of the sand.....on we go so we get to the end of the beach (where you can drive) and see a Chevy pickup 1500 crew cab stuck to the axels the sand was really soft and the exit is on a hill well I stopped and asked if they need help there were 4 of them and were a little on the red neck side the passenger says I think we do but it's not my truck. So I asked the driver he was less than friendly and told me that they were fine......they were airing down and according to him he would just drive out.....Yea right, so I watch them and they are making no progress, I got board and decided to leave. Well they practically ran after me NOW THEY WANT MY HELP. I thought about just leaving but then I thought that it would be a lasting memory for them, the day an H2 pulled their hillbilly asses out of the sand. I get out the strap and am hooking them up one of them says I don't think that thing has the power to pull this truck out... I pulled it right out with a cop and a jeep owner watching the whole thing. The cop was cool and thanked me for helping out and the guys in the truck were also a little friendlier. and drove out the exit(I got a little nervous myself that sand was fing deep, I stopped once and almost sunk to the axel....this **** sucked I can't stress that enough). went to look at that beached shipwreck and decide to go back to see if anyone else is stuck sure enough there was a guy and his wife in a rave 4 stuck, what the hell I will tow him out too...this guy was really cool I pulled him out too and he gave me $10 after tiring to give me a $20 I told him I didn't want it but he was not leaving without giving me something.....Whatever I was just having fun pulling people off the beach. Chatted with him for a minute he told me he was on the phone with AAA and they told him that it would be at least an hour to get a tow because of all of the people stuck on the beach today....so he was real appreciative.....just took 1 pic should have taken more as for the $10 I blew that and more at the casino on the way home.....sorry if a little rambling gd tired 2 friggin 30 in the morn.....

Good story! Love it when they're too proud to get pulled out, until you're about to drive off. That kind of ownage is priceless.
