Thanks.

Interesting, though, he did not mention his "real world" gas mileage in the article...

I would agree it is alot of bang for the buck, though Hummers are not for everyone, I wish they would add sterring wheel controls, that is the only flaw I see.

I agree on the doors. I always bump into them an it's awkward to access them.

I have a book on the H3 and some of the desigen conceps had what I think was a better interrior for the Hummer look, but I bet $$$$$$ had alot to do with deleating the steering wheel controls.

Seems like a pretty good review except I don't find the visibility to be much of a problem. Rear visibility can be a problem and we are debating whether or not to get a back-up camera.

The cruise controls on the wiper stalk is a plus for us because it is the same as on our motorhome so we don't have to adapt when we change from one to the other.

I suspect that the wishes of some are for radio controls on the steering wheel which are not important to us. I am glad that they avoided the complexity of a potentially failure prone design.

We have not found any problem with the window controls...could this be over-blown?

Best regards,

Yes I agree that the window controls and steering wheel controls are minor problems.

But the rear visibility is not good, an accident waiting to happen. I use a hitchcam and it helps a lot. But my father said it best after he drove my H3, "rear visibility is worse in his 30' motorhome", so I guess that's the bright side. (Note: he has a camera on the back of his motorhome too.)

The Business Week article is pretty good.
