Any interest in ShrockWorks products?
I recently contacted ShrockWorks about H3 products and they were open to the idea as long as the interest is there. They make some EXCELLENT products for Nissans, Jeeps, Toyotas, etc. Here is the email I got back from them:
"Ryan,
If you want some products get some people together that would be willing to order. When we did the 05-07 4runner they came to us requesting products and we said get 20 people that would be willing to order a front bumper...they came back with 50. So all I can say is generate interest and let us know what forums you guys are frequenting so we can check out what interest there may be. We would also need a vehicle to prototype off of, so (if the time came) we would need someone willing to drop off their vehicle for several days, a couple of times.
thanks,
Nick"
I don't think this is an unreasonable request and all we have to do is decide on some products that we'd like them to make. One of my biggest requests is some tough rocker protection at a decent price. The more products available for out rigs... the better. Anybody else have any ideas?

An aluminum or stainless lockable storage box for the rear area behind back seat about 6" high with between 1 to 3 roll out drawers with holes in bottom so it can be locked to floor rings. It should take up the entire rear area, be nicely finished and strong...

Re: Any interest in ShrockWorks products?
Shrockworks makes some great stuff. That'd be sweet if they started making stuff for the H3. Particularly rock sliders and skids. And some bumpers that don't weigh half a ton and cost $2K.

Re: Any interest in ShrockWorks products?
a full on water tight casing fo the engine so i can ford like 100 inches hahah sarcastic with the fording amount there. and also something that would be nice, a one piece underbody skidplate that covers the whole underside that would be sick. And another idea, dont think i would use this one though, brush guards that cover the fender flares, thought that would be a good idea for you frequent moab visitors. Of course as i would like all those id have to see how much it would cost before i can get any, cuase im on a tight budget with my car seeing as my parents pay for it. but i thought those might be some good ideas for you guys

Thanks for the info, but $700 seems a bit high...

Re: Any interest in ShrockWorks products?
Perhaps, but it's all aluminum, high quality and wont jam up like the more expensive TruckVault version. My truck got stolen once and broken into twice. I lost so much gear that it was well worth it for me to be able to lock items up securely in the truck.

Re: Any interest in ShrockWorks products?
I would like to see some heavy duty, high quality rocker protection at a fair price. Also a brush guard with decent protection and good looks...something in between the OEM ones and those hinged over the hood ones.

Re: Any interest in ShrockWorks products?
i like all these. I'm not sure if we could get 50 people interested in a storage drawer for the back...
So lets generate some interest for rocker rails, under carriage protection, brush guard, and maybe a jamboree rack?
