I was just chatting with a Humbud in my offroad club. Turns out, back at that Gorman event the HummerClub had a couple months ago, there was a kid who got his H2 stuck on the side of a steep hill.

The 'kid' spun his wheels and dug himself in too deep to get out. When they threw down a tow strap to him, he started to attach it to the two handles on top of the hood!!!!

The guys, being hardcore H1er's showed mercy and told him where to attach the tow-strap....but I would have just let nature take her course to teach the kid a lesson. That would have been sooooo funny. Can you just imagine the piece flying off when they applied about 10 pounds of pulling: total 'America's funniest home video' award material!

Read the article Mac posted from SF news. Everyone now knows those handles are for helicopter transport!

I thought those handles were there for the latest Leondardo DiCaprio (?spelling) movie, you know, the one where he is standing with his feet strapped down to the hood handles with his arms extended outward like he's being frisked at the airport..... I think its called "Gangs of LA"... Or is that the sequen to "JackA__"?
