Default Electronic lockers.... how to do rear?

Here's my dilemma....

Because you can lock in the rear axle on a stock H2 from the factory switch, electronic lockers are available only for the front.

Now that my H2 is getting the diesel conversion, I won't have the same 4WD system. It will lock in like a regular silverado.

I'm sure you can buy electronic lockers for a silverado but do they have the same 12 bolt rearend that the H2 has?

I'd like the ability to lock in all 4 wheels if I wanted.

Anyone enlighten me on this?

Mark

Why don't you just use your factory rear diff? You can buy and eaton e-locker for any GM and it should work right off of your stock TCCM.

I am using my factory rear diff. The problem is the controls on the dash is what allows you to lock in the rear axle, right? Well, I won't have those controls any longer, it will be like a normal 4WD. (ie. chevy)

Mark, you will have a new selelctable transfer case with rear locker! They should have no issue making that work for you. The guy up the road from me has the deisel conversion and he has the factory rear diff, locker, and button to engage it. You should also be able to upgrade the front to an Eaton and have an additional switch to that as well. Call Predator and tell them to run a seperate switch for your rear locker. ...should NOT be an issue.
