Hey guys first post here great site by the way. I have a 2004 H2 I just purchased and am looking at laptop mounts made by jottodesk. I have seen some mention of them on here but curious if anyone has installed one and has any pictures of it. The install looks very simple but I am curious of overall looks and functionality of it. if anyone could put up a couple pics would be great. thanks

Welcome to the board! Same here, I want to mount my laptop to use as a DVD player and navigation system. Not sure if it will look too tacky. I checked out some mounts on eBay, but they look ugly. I'm with you, I would definitely appreciate some pictures too...

Doesn't look like anybody has done it. When you look around, there really isn't any places to install a "mount" that wouldn't conflict with other things. But it just so happens that I'm thinking of a laptop in my H2. Planning to use the Sharp MP30 laptop. It should fit perfectly in the recess on top of the driver console. Verizon wireless link and you're totally mobile. I also plan to install a power inverter to keep it charged. It's all expensive but should work nicely.

Looks good, but still looks like it may get in the way of the passenger a little. Best one I've seen yet, and the screen holder is a nice idea.

I'm sure it wouldn't be too difficult to fab one up yourself if you had some time. You may be able to incorporate the left front and back bolts instead of both front bolts.

It looks like it will swivel to a netural position above the shifter and between the two seats. Very cool nice find..

I tried to mount a computer using this system from Ram http://www.ram-mount.com/ramcat/ramv...hiclead04a.pdf but just could not configure it in a way that didn't look absolutely goofy or interfere with one of the seat's movements. In the end I drilled into the center console lid and mounted the single post, swing arm, 3 inch adjuster and tough tray, functional but not pretty. A Resto Billet 3D center console tray covers the holes when the computer isn't mounted.

Too big for me. Don't need "arms, legs, etc" in the middle of my H2. Ordered the Sharp MP30 today. Should sit right inside the recess on top of the console.
