I got my first door ding today @&!*! , Has anyone used a Dent Wizard retail outlet or approved Dealership for a repair? If so were you satisfied and how was the cost?

If you mean a paintless dent repair, we use them all the time for hail damage. Most of the time they come out pretty nice. They'll usually tell you if they can do a quality job or if the body shop has to have a go.

+1 to PartsGuy response. If the ding is not sharp and the paint is not already damaged it should come out OK.

Talk with the paintless dent repair tech beforehand. Some of them will insist on drilling holes in your door's edge or bottom. While the dent results can be very good, you may not want a bunch of plugged or caulked holes in your door.
Also check with your insurance company. I have a $100 deductible. For that $100, I just got close to $2000 in door ding repairs done. Rates with my company (AAA Autoclub) are not affected by comprehensive claims.

Thanks for the info guys. It's not big and didn't chip the paint, but it bugs me so I'd like to make it go away. Tower, I will check with my ins. co. and see what their policy is and go from there. Maybe I should realize that dings are going to happen at some point. I'm usually VERY careful about where I park etc. with all our vehicles, but I have no one to blame but myself on this one. I did it myself At the very least I will have it looked at by a few before I decide what to do. Thanks again!

My parents used them for a dent on a black car and it came out great.
