I was the high bidder on this No Reserve auction on Ebay that ended a few hours ago.

I did not expect to win on 33100. But i did.
So do you guys think it is ok for this truck?
I know it has salvagetitle.

I hope it wasn't flooded in Salt water because every wire and connection will start to rust.

Nice price, but what exactly does this mean:
"This was a no damage flood disclosure vehicle"?
Is that on the title? If not, I'd say you can make a few grand real quick.

I donīt know more regarding the flooding than what says in the description.
Maybe i should have checked that with the seller  before i put my bid
The rust mentioned earlier worries me...

FWIW, I bought a salvage title BMW once by mistake and it turned out to be a terrific car.
I notice a substantial fine print disclaimer at the bottom of the e-Bay page. Before you part with your money, I'd have someone take a look at the car for you (I notice you're in Sweden) and I'd also ask about the "... no damage flood disclosure." If the care isn't as represented, I'd squawk despite the disclaimer. I admit I've never bought anything on e-Bay.
The problem with a "salvage title car" crops up when you sell it. If this car is as represented and you're going to keep it for a few years, I think you made a very good deal. Also, the fact that you are shipping it to Sweden may eliminate the salvaged title issue.

Yes i belive that when i registrate it here, the salvagetitle is not going to be shown in the swedish papers. But not sure.
Anyway, my intention is to drive it a few years and then sell it.
If the truck is ok, i should be able to make quite large profit on it the day i sell it. But that is not my main reason why i want to buy it. Is it possible to check the Floodingdetails somewhere without contacting the seller?

Sorry about my slang. By "I'd squawk," I meant to say that I would complain and threaten not to pay. "Squawk" is what a rooster or crow does when he's angry.
Regarding checking the flood details, I don't know. Some forum member in Michigan (where I understand the car to be) might know if it's possible to check.
I did look at the seller's E-bay history. They look to me to have an outstanding record for customer satisfaction. I think you might have made a great deal.
You're English is better than alot of people I talk to every day.

Have you figured out how to take the truck to Sweden? How much do you have to for pay taxes etc... Currently H2 is not a streel legal by all the Europen Union standards. Depending where you live, you have to change the head lights, wind shield, brake lights maybe something else as well. Addition to that, you have to provide official test results regarding pollution, noise, brakes, radio frequencies and some other crap. All this depends on how much in detail Sweden follows the EU legislation regarding vehicles. In some places not at all, but as far as I understand the sosialistic governmental culture in Scandinavia you are not living in the easiest area... Believe me, I know!

Shipping is okay. I will use a well known car-shippingcompany working out of sweden.
I am also aware of all costs such as tax. Very expensive!
Also the modifications you mentiond and testresults will be taken care of by a athorised Hummerdealer here. So of all of this is not a problem.
Btw the H2 is pretty common here in Stockholm. But way to expensive to buy.
Better to do the work and import myself.
The problem is how damaged was the truck from the flooding?
When (if)will it start to rust...
I thought i made a good deal. I am not as sure any more.

Do you know how much they charge for the tests in Stockholm? After doing it could you send them to me? Where are you getting all replasement parts? I'm in process of buying a new H2 from States and having it supercharged by Lingenfelter. Then I'll ship it to Finland. By the way, Kroymans Corporation will be importing H2's to Europe by the end of this year. At that time they will have to have everything tested and approved by the EU so importing should get much easier.

I ran the vin on carfax.com for you. Here were the results:

It was severely damaged and issued a Flood and Salvage title by a DMV.
It has not been reported by a DMV as having an Exceeds Mechanical Limits or Not Actual Mileage title.
It has a consistent mileage history with no indication of an odometer rollback. It was driven an average of 11,220 miles per year, which is lower than the industry average of 15,000. The last odometer reading, reported on 03/02/2005, was 14,356 miles.
It was not reported by a DMV as a Manufacturer Buyback (LEMON).
Its original manufacturer warranty was voided after it was severely damaged.

Salvage Title - A Salvage Title is issued on a vehicle damaged to the extent that the cost of repairing the vehicle for safe operation exceeds its fair market value; or a vehicle that has been declared a Total Loss by an insurer or other state or jurisdiction. Some states treat Junk titles the same as Salvage but the majority use this title to indicate that a vehicle is not road worthy and cannot be titled again in that state. The following ten States also use Salvage titles to identify stolen vehicles - AZ, FL, GA, IL, MN, NJ, NM, NY, OK and OR.
