Hi
Has anyone had the front bumper off yet?

In the photo, it used a red pointer.

Why, I have 1500 miles on my H3 and this is showing tons of tiny stone chips. I am going to have this power coated or truck bed coated.

I think the D-Rings just hold this on,

There are other bolts underneath. Just look and you'll see them.

It Is about a 6 hour job. You must remove the wheel well covers and the cover under the engine to get to the bolts that hold the bumper on and remove the entire front end to get the tow hooks off. There is a bolt that holds them on from behind. You cant get to them because they are behind the frame.

Why take off the whole thing? Seems to me that they can just tape around the outside edge and the tow hooks? They can get close enough to coat the impact areas.
