I'm going to replace the stock air cleaner with an aftermarket. I've been reading the discussions and looking at the graphs (thanks to all) Is there a decision as to which one is better than the others? SMA K&N or AIRAID. I will also be upgrading the exhaust if that matters. Thanks in advance for any input

Might have some input on this in a couple of weeks. Working with one of the aftermarket companies that needs a test vehicle to devlop the new air intake for the H3. might be using mine as their Beta test unit

I would highly recommend not putting on FLOWMASTER muffler when upgrading exhaust. The cabin noise is way to loud and annoying.I just installed the SMA system and it sounds great with no extra cabin noise.

take my advice (for now) as you dont want the whole intake kit from any of them. SMA or AIRRAID - you ONLY want to replace the airfilter with a K&N style and dont mess with anything else or you will loose bottom end acceleration.

Tried it already and threw them away and kept the OEM assembly and AIRRAID filter.

Why will I loose acceleration? Don't they boast increased horsepower? Maybe I don't understand the difference. I just want more power off the line. Someone out there has the K&N aircharger is this different than the others? I don't expect a sports car but merging into traffic would be nice.
