Well, had to go out of town on a little business/personal trip. Nice to get out of town but didn't have access to the sit while gone and it really sucked

While I was up in KC, HoKC was nice enough to show me both the Slate and Superior blues and I have to say that I am glad I waited. I like the other colors but Slate is definitely my favorite. Just coincidentally, my dealer called me two hours later and left me a message that mine is supposed to be in around the 8th. Guess I need to call him and let him know I am postponing the order. My mother said she wanted to go along to check out the H3 and she actually like them. Her attorney told her recently she needs more business expenses and jokingly said she should get one. He had no idea I had ordered one and I am going to be pissed if she gets on before me. Anyway, thanks again HoKC for taking the time.

To get to the locations I flew up there to go to I did a little off roading. Well, not really off roading but some areas weren't accessible without 4 wheel drive. The Acura I was driving did fine but saw some areas I would have loved to attack in an H3. Someday I guess.

Anyway, enough of my rambling, glad to be back and on the forum. It was like stopping smoking cold turkey or something like that not being on here. Oh well, guess I am an addict and this is my little fix

What did you miss....well let's see.
They stopped production of all H3s
When production starts up again, prices will rise by 50 percent, they will be an all-wheel drive configuration based upon a front wheel drivetrain, and they will ship with the 4-cylinder Ecotech engine, and have a continuously variable transaxle. Tire sizes are dropping to 215x80x15, and will be manufactured by Hankook.
So, you really didn't miss that much.

(Should I say to those who are considering the purchase of an H3, that I'm full of it today? )

Hope your trip went well, I'm out of here next week, but I will be in the H3. Have to do a test drive on the interstate from MI to TN. I know some off-road trails there where I can give it a small test in TN.

LOL

Don't scare me like that. Trip was great. Have a safe and enjoyable time going down to TN. Vacation or are you still moving stuff?

I'm done moving, GM handled all of that. Just need to visit some people, party a little, and sit around and cry about having to live in this poor excuse of a state. (Sorry any Michiganders, but I have found no redeeming qualities in MI.)

whew! I'm glad I'm not the only one who feels that way. Personally if I had a choice on where I live it'd be in Florida.
I may have grown up in a snowbelt area but I absolutely hate snow and anything else that goes along with cold weather. We get too much of that crap here in Michigan. All it does is make me crabby.
Until I find a better way to deal with MI...the usual weekly poker party and beer fest will have to keep me occupied

Not much, just a whining Frenchie sympathizer from Necktucky.

Welcome back HummerNewbie, you didn't miss a whole lot...unless you mean, the tired & unintelligible dribble posted by DRTYFN. Seems he never has anything constructive or positive to post on this H3 board, so he just continues to try to insult and antagonize others (sadly, he feels the need to do this to make him feel he's more of a man). For some strange reason, I feel you'll see an example of this shortly, just below this post.

And just to clarify, for those who speak of things they do not know (see DRTYFN)...I am from New York, Manhattan to be exact, and this is where I live and work. I have a vacation home in Kentucky, which is where I also keep my H3.
