Today sucks.
Hubby left for Iraq yesterday. I'm not a happy camper. At least the baby is totally oblivious.
Trying to kill time today with house cleaning and laundry. It's only a matter of time before I go down that dark road of online shopping and buying rat-like dogs.
What's everyone else up to?

Did you explain to him that it was only a joke about the hockey game?????
Hang in there Stacy. Take confort in the fact that the H2 is in the driveway and probably a dozen roughnecks watching your hubby`s back.

The best thing to do is go to Moab. It'll take your mind off everything... except falling off Lin's Back.

Count me in. Whatever you need.
I was single when I served and I remember how tough it was (no kidding) just to leave my favorite bartender and party friends behind. Now that I'm married with kids, I really can't imagine how much strength it takes and how tough it must be on a service member and their family to deploy for months at a time. Salutes to you!
And while you're dealing with that, I'm grumbling about pulling a coax from the roof to the dash. Sure does put it in perspective. I think I'm done grumbling.

Thanks guys. He's USAF - we've been through a deployment before, but it's different with a baby, that's for sure.
KenP - do NOT tempt me. There is absolutely NO reason I can think of to NOT go to Moab right now. Other than if I break something, pretty much everything on my warranty is voided and hubby will NOT be happy to see the bank account depleted. But breaking things - that never happens at Moab, right?
Hey, I DO have a favor to ask. Does anyone have an extra bolt for the side steps? I'm missing one. PM me if you don't mind mailing it to me or letting me know of a cheap place to buy one.

 Sorry Stacey.
How long is he going to be gone? I hope you have family and friends in the area that can help with the little guy.
And you can GFY on the rat-dog comment.

Hang in there and keep a stiff upper lip. I don't know who's job is harder right now, yours or his, but KNOW that both of you are deeply appreciated by all true Americans.
God bless you and yours.
