Duplicolor Truck Bed Liner works well and has a texture that will help hide any small scrapes and bruises.

Yeah mine takes a lot of beating. I heard great things about Duplicolor. What did you do to prepare them? Just a good wash?

However, I have used it on other things. Just wash them and scrap off any and all rust. Use several coats until you are happy with the finish. It takes a long time for the truck bed liner to cure. It'll be soft for several days but it will harden up.
Another route to go is just plain old flat black paint.

I always wondered about the rattle can on the rim's. How do they turn out? And does the clear coat on the rims make the color peel or crack at all?
