Default Low Locked Broke?

Hi all.

I just finished searching the forum and found no info on my problem, hope you can help.

I was told at the dealership how to engage Low Locked on my 05 H2 SUT, I also read my manual about it. I checked all the fuses, they seam to be intact.

Today I was in a situation were Low Locked would have been good, and maybe even the e-locker. I stopped and pressed the Low Locked button and it just flashed and would not engage the transfer case into Low Locked. I then crawled at around 5 mph and pressed it again. It just flashed for a bit then returned back to Hi Locked. I tried in park , drive and first gear. Each time the Low Locked light flashed a few times but would not stay on showing that it was engaged. I am pretty sure it never kicked in as my crawl ratio never seamed to change. Am I missing something in my manual on how to get Low Locked engaged?

Anyone have this problem yet? If so does anyone know of anything I should check before the dredded trip to the dealer?

I'm in Nevada, so you know who I'm scared to bring my hummer to I do have the "certified used hummer warrenty" so worst case I'm coverd.
( I hope )

Any and all replies and or help would be greatly appreciated.

You need to be in neutral and stopped or not going over 2 mph to engauge into lo/hi or to engauge the e-locker.

Thanks alot Mike! I looked my book over again and realized its missing a few pages. heh. The truck was used when I got it and this is the original manual..

I did what you said and all is well. It works!.. Funny the sales guy never mentioned putting it in neutral to shift into Low Locked. Or maybe he did and I was to excited to hear him.

Thanks again.. I feel much better now ..
