thats an interesting consideration to be sure. to truly assess, there are so many variables that you'd need, and one would certainly be solar radiation over the last 2000 years or so.

The extreme enviro's, and the press in general, need to sit down and realize that the age when people, and their (peoples) opinions were a pawn of the press is ending. more and more conversations you participate in or overhear talk about how much BS both sides spew into the press, (maybe especially the extreme lib side, as the press tends to be considerably lib).

hollywood has started a trend of not submitting movies to reviewers, and reviewers have panicked over their loss of power by writing articles to insult every movie not submitted... But its soething the press will have to learn to live with - their capacity to simply state as "fact" whatever they wish is fading, and people are more and more growing disinterested in propaganda.

hence farenheit 9/11 was a failure.
