TEAM HUMMER WINS POINTS CHAMPIONSHIP . . . Driving the Team HUMMER H3 SUV in Best in the Desert Racing Association's Full Stock SUV production Class (Class 4100), Josh Hall won the Henderson Terrible's 400 on Dec. 3. The win marks the second consecutive win for Hall in the H3 and earned him the BitD Silver State Points Series Championship in the first full year of competition for the H3. Chad Hall, driving the Team HUMMER H1 Pickup, finished second in BitD's Full Stock Pickup Production Class Points Championship (Class 8100), driving the final race in his H1 Pickup. Chad will debut a new H1 Apha in the Premier Off-Road Truck racing series next year. He previously won the Class 8100 Points Championship in 2002 and again in 2004, when he tied for the Class Championship. Josh and Chad are the sons of team owner Rod Hall, who will also drive the new H3 Production Class SUV (Class 3100) in the 2006 BitD series. Rod recently won the SCORE
Baja 1000 in the H3's second tune-up race but sat out this event while the truck was being upgraded for the 2006 season.

Sorry, no link for this one...yet. I cut it out of a GM Newsline and that is all they had in regard to the win.

However, here are the results for 1st and 2nd. (Oh, and the H3 beat the pants off the Ford again )

TOC=Time On Course

1st-TOC 8:54.04-Hummer H3-Josh Hall, Thad Stump, Shelby Hall, Jacob Povey

2nd-TOC 10:13.34-Ford-Marc Stein, Chris Taylor, Mark Jernigan, Travis Walser
