Yes, even have the owner's manual
In answer to a previous question you had, per the electrical schematics, it does appear it could be a plug and play to switch out the current radio with a Nav unit (expensive plug and play I will add...remember, this is a $1900.00 option). It appears that the inputs to the Nav are on the same pins as the inputs for the optional radios (such as vehicle speed input, power, ground, etc.). Needless to say there is an extra input for a GPS coax on the Nav.
Only thing that might have to be added is the external GPS antenna. Per the service manual, it will be located under the top cover of the I/P near the window.
However, I do know that some of the newer shark fin antennas (and the Hummer has one) can be used for XM signals, GPS for Onstar and GPS for Nav units. The one on the H3 is currently used for XM and GPS.

Ok. Question time. Does the Nav feature 2 slots (one for cd and one for DVD) or is it a one slot system? (Like the H2). Can the Nav play dvd video or is it only good for DVD rom (navigation dvd only)? Are there any aux inputs? (Back up camera, etc..) Also any aux outputs? Oh yea, where are the pics???

Thanks

Per the owner's manual, since I never really paid attention to the unit installed in the '07 H3 we had in the center.
Two slots, one for CDs, one for DVDs.
GM will not allow you to play movies from a screen viewable from the driver's seat...liability is too high, and many lawyers are going after people on this. Many states are considering laws to make this illegal.
As for aux inputs and outputs, there are no photos of the rear of the unit, and the schematics do not show any detail.
As for the unit I glanced at, it was installed so I did not see the back.

Pictures...illustrations? On my hard drive

Well after getting back form the dealer a few minutes ago (I picked up my SUT that has been there for a week) and found that my H3 order is on hold. WTF? The dealer told me that 20% of the NAV units are failing at the factory and that all orders with NAV are on hold. My dealer told me at least another 60 days before production of my truck. Anyone else here this?

Sounds like a supplier problem to me.

FStop - Any idea if a backup camera will display on the nav unit?

Looks like the H2 Nav unit to me. Look at the surround.

Since fstop's manual says it has two slots, I would have to say that either he or your dealer are wrong. My money is on the dealer being wrong.
