I was told that these two colors will be released late August/Early September... any news or official date?
Why are these two colors post-poned, anyway?

I heard slate blue is out, but can't confirm it. However, I saw today, a Superior Blue H3 at Suburban Hummer in Troy MI. (Personally, don't like it.)
As to why they are late. Many things go into the development and release of a color. Have to test to make sure it does not fade or peel. However, in this case, I believe the slate blue is a new color for Canyon/Colorado so they wanted to release them at the same plant at the same time (at least that is what I have been told).

Check out the photos section. Forget the users name but he took delivery of his Slate Blue this weekend. Looks great! Glad I waited.

Any idea when the dealerships should start to get them?

Depending on where you are, they may already be getting them in. I have heard of several dealers having them.

The Dealership is in NJ (They say they are the biggest Hummer dealership on the east (or maybe northeast)). Where are the hummers shipping from?

H3s are built in Shreveport; therefore, they are shipped from this location. For most vehicles (excluding Corvettes which are not shipped by rail since 1999), they are shipped by truck if the normal drive is around 10-12 hours; anything further are shipped via Rail to a local rail yard, then transported via truck.

We had a Slate Blue Adventure with the Manual tranny in today, it was a previous order.
It's a great color for the H3.

The reason the Blue colors were a late add is our plant can only paint so many colors and these colors were added to the Colorado colors for 2006 model. Still don't think we have built any Superior Blues, yet.

If Superior Blue is dark blue metallic, there is one sitting at Suburban Hummer in Troy, MI. Since there are only two blues being produced; Slate and Superior, this has to be a Superior blue, because it certainly is not Slade blue.
Saw it there Monday, and the salesman noted it was just delivered; he liked it, I hated it.
