I have been lurking on this board since the H3 arrived at my local dealership a few weeks ago. Thus far, this board has become quite a good source of info and largely devoid of trash talking like many other auto-based boards. Kudos to all the posters and admins.

I started looking at the H3 when GM started their employee discount program. I started hopping around the lots (Hey if someone is offering up 30% off, I'm going to look).
After examining all of the vehicles out there, the Hummer H3 turned out to be a pleasant surprise. I originally thought it was going to be another built for the street SUV. After copmparing the specs and equipment, I realized that the H3 was designed by someone who does some serious trail running during the day and eats at four-star restaraunts at night. It is the perfect marriage of substance and sophistication.
For the first time in over a decade, it appears that I will once again become Jeepless.

I had this Jeep:
and now I have this H3
I really liked the Jeep, and it was great as a 2nd off-road toy but not as a primary vehicle.

I too am deciding to get rid of my beloved jeep for an H3. This looks like the perfect blend of luxury /off-road that there is on the market today. Cant wait to finally make a move to purchase one....

Hey there!
Welcome to the boards! This is indeed a great board, and probably the best I have seen for the H3.
Hope you stay awhile!
